Discuss your brief
Before sending confidential documents
The first enquiry is for service qualification only. BenScot does not need passport scans, bank statements, medical details, full contracts, title documents or payment instructions at this stage. If the brief proceeds, the required documents and the secure transfer method will be agreed separately.
Response and qualification process
The enquiry is reviewed for geography, service fit, timing, regulated-professional involvement and practical capacity. BenScot may ask focused questions before offering a consultation or scope. If the requested work is outside the current service model, the response will state that clearly rather than imply that coverage can be arranged later.
Urgent matters
The website form is not an emergency service. Property leaks, fire, security incidents, threats to personal safety or urgent legal deadlines should be directed to the relevant emergency service, insurer, property manager, solicitor or authorised local professional.
What a qualified response looks like
A qualified response confirms whether the enquiry fits the current service area, identifies missing information, states which regulated or local professionals may be required and proposes the appropriate next step. It does not promise availability, outcome or price before the brief has been reviewed.
